Ian Taylor Executive Chairman

Ian started his career with British Airways in 1974 and then went on to join Virgin Atlantic as one of the first Managers in Engineering. He progressed to GM level, building his team to over 300 staff. In 2000 Ian joined an aircraft leasing company as Senior VP where he was heavily involved in projects throughout the world; this included a year commuting to Alabama, USA. In 2004 Ian moved to Barcelona and became a founder director of Vueling Airlines, now the second largest low-cost airline in Europe. With the sale to IAG he returned to the UK to take up the position of Managing Director at Line Up. In May 2011 Ian completed the acquisition of Line Up Ltd (trading as Line Up Aviation) and became Chief Executive. Ian’s leisure time is spent racing motorbikes, car track days and now gliding, basically, anything that gets the adrenaline going.
Matthew Allsop Finance Director

Matthew joined Lloyds Bank after graduating in 1984. He progressed rapidly through the ranks to become a Business Banking Manager. In 1999 Matthew joined Line Up as Financial Controller and in May 2011 was promoted to Financial Director and Company Secretary. He brings nearly 20 years’ experience in providing payroll solutions for the supply of personnel for management, maintenance and engineering positions around the world. He has worked heavily in Switzerland, Germany, Italy, USA, Canada and Singapore and has helped secure for Line Up either labour leasing licences or representative offices in those countries in support of the payroll solutions offered.
In his spare time, he is usually to be found out walking in the countryside or enjoying visits to castles and other historic places
Grant Jones Group Managing Director

Having spent the early part of his career in a technical capacity within the construction industry, Grant decided to pursue avenues new and follow his passion for aviation. In joining Line Up Aviation as a Recruitment Consultant, he quickly demonstrated his capacity for knowledge and leadership whilst evidencing his attention to detail and resultantly excelled in serving a number of notable clients with both contract and permanent solutions. Attributed to these very successes and combined with his ability to turn his hand to all aspects of the business, Grant progressed to Operations Manager where he currently has full responsibility for ensuring consistency and efficiency in the delivery of Line Up’s services. He further retains an account management aspect to his responsibilities for a number of key clientele across the globe.
In his spare time, Grant is an avid fitness and outdoors type and can often be found in the gym or tinkering with classic cars.
Susan Pike Regional Director - Italy

Susan Pike, after attending Llandrillo Technical College in September 1989 and Graduating in July 1991, she went on to work for Bodelwyddan Castel for the Food and Beverage area organizing events. After moving to Italy in 1995, she continued to work in the food and Beverage area at The Green Motel, alongside with Teaching English for many different English schools in Italy. In 2010 -2016 she worked for Euro Lavoro teaching courses at all English levels. During this time she also started a collaboration with Line Up aviation LTD supporting us as a company in Italy. In 2017 “Line up aviation SRL” opened an office in Italy, she continues to support us and our Italian Clients. She is a forever Romantic and loves reading! Her hobbies are socializing and wine tasting.
Tracey Kemsley Finance Manager

Tracey started in finance in 2011 in the IT sector, with her team she was responsible for all finance and administration functions. She continues her studies and has achieved AAT level 2 & 3 in accounting. Tracey prides herself to go above and beyond to help all of our clients & suppliers financial needs. Integrity, flexibility & hardworking are but a few of her many strengths. During her spare time she enjoys going to the gym and taking part in a Pilates class, catching up and socialising with friends & with her family. She loves to travel to different countries and experiencing all the different cultures with many more on her list to explore.
Katie Adams Finance Assistant

Katie first joined Line Up Aviation as part of the Ground Operations team in 2017. Shortly after, when a position became available in the accounts department, she jumped at the chance to move into her current role as a Finance Assistant. Katie is currently working towards achieving her Level 2 Foundation Certificate in Accounting and will be moving on to Level 3 later this year to obtain an Advanced Diploma in Accounting.
Katie is a very friendly and hardworking member of the Line Up team who enjoys problem solving and is a dedicated employee. Outside of work between her studies, Katie frequently attends concerts and enjoys many different arts and crafts.
Natalie Dalkin Recruitment Manager, UK

Natalie has worked within the aviation industry for over 12 years, after having a successful career at Virgin Holidays she made the decision to change career and enter the world of recruitment.
Having a passion for aviation she decided to join Line Up Aviation and recruits for both permanent and contract position’s with a number of clients, Natalie is already building relationships with clients and candidates all over Europe and long may this continue.
Outside of work, Natalie enjoys travelling, going to concerts and is an avid football supporter of Tottenham Hotspur.

Hannah began her recruitment career in 2006 for a well-known high street agency, fulfilling bulk temporary & permanent recruitment requirements to strict SLAs within the FSA banking industry.
Hannah joined Line Up Aviation in 2013 to specialise in the aviation industry. She is now an extremely experienced member of our team and is very capable at senior/executive positions.
Always brightening up the day, Hannah is known for celebrating her successes by cartwheeling down the office!
Having competed to a high level in several sports, Hannah enjoys anything sporty & competitive. Challenge her to anything and she will always accept your challenge (unless it’s baking)!
Neil Leighton Managing Consultant

Neil started his career in recruitment almost 25 years ago having already had a successful career in aviation including service within Airlines and Ground Services companies, he has worked internationally including the USA, France and Holland.
Neil has experience at all levels of recruitment, from recruiting board room executives through to managing large labour intensive onsite airport contracts. He has held various positions of corporate responsibility from senior management to company ownership.
Over the years Neil has developed a wealth of specialist recruitment knowledge, this knowledge tethered with enthusiasm, a passion for recruitment, aviation, good business practice and determination means that he is able to forge meaningful business relationships that concentrate on providing bespoke recruitment solutions to the Aviation industry, in particular, MRO facilities, fixed wing and rotary operators as well as aerospace design.
Neil has the responsibility of developing the Line Up Aviation brand internationally providing cost-effective recruitment solutions to both current and developing clients.
Away from work, Neil is a keen amateur photographer and has had work published in several magazines, he is also a big follower of football supporting Brighton & Hove Albion.
Melanie Cave Recruitment Consultant

Melanie brings 5 years of aviation knowledge and a huge passion for aviation to Line Up. Following in her family’s footsteps with a career in Aviation Melanie found a love for all things aviation at a very young age. She has started her recruitment journey after working in sales-based roles within the aviation sector.
In Melanie’s spare time she enjoys being with her family and friends as well as spending time with her cats. Melanie also likes to go on long walks in the countryside and getting out in nature. As she was a dancer for all her childhood she also enjoys watching dance performances and going to the theatre.

Hollie started her career in retail whilst studying Travel & Tourism at College. Over time she progressed into a Manager and spent 6 years managing a team of 30 in a fast paced retail environment. Hollie has always had a strong interest in Aviation, and when an opportunity to pursue a recruitment career in the Aviation industry came up I was excited to make the career change.
Outside of work, Hollie loves spending time with my friends and family, exploring the countryside on long walks and playing detective whilst watching crime documentaries!

Sarah joined Reed Employment, a well-known high-street recruitment company in 1992 and joined the number 1 branch in the UK, as a Permanent Consultant, then promoted to running the Temporaries desk for 5 years. Sarah continued her Recruitment journey in another 2 branches for the same company.
Sarah joined Office Angels in 2009 and took a change in 2014 to start up an Inhouse Recruitment role in a Telecommunications company, employing across 14 departments internally, from Finance Directors to Engineers to Sales Support and all roles in between.
Sarah joined Line Up Aviation at the start of 2020, luckily Line Up have survived the Aviation downturn and we are returning to strength with a positive outlook moving forward working alongside amazing clients and candidates.
Sarah enjoys Pilates, Zumba, Badminton, Racquet ball and long walks with her Boxer.
Siobhan Miller Delivery Executive

Siobhan has always had a passion for travel and all things aviation. Siobhan started her career in retail and shortly after this became Cabin Crew for British Airways. Siobhan’s top 3 favourite destinations to travel to are the Maldives, Costa Rica, and Las Vegas. Due to the pandemic, Siobhan swapped the skies for scrubs and joined the NHS working in a Children’s mental health hospital. Siobhan has always wanted to work in recruitment so when an opportunity came up to work in recruitment within the aviation industry, she made the exciting transition.
Outside of work Siobhan loves socialising with friends , going to the gym and loves going on hot sunny, beach holidays.
Charlie Fieldwick Managing Consultant

Charlie launched his aviation career in 2007, studying aircraft systems maintenance on a groundbreaking UK apprenticeship scheme. After completing secondary school in 2009, he obtained the Citi & Guilds 2661 Aircraft Technicians certificate, advancing towards an ‘A’ license. Charlie gained valuable experience at FlyerTech, an EASA Part M CAMO organization, for two years. In 2012, he joined Avtrade, beginning his ascent in aviation and eventually becoming an MRO Executive. Charlie further excelled at AerFin and BII Aero, managing the MRO process and leading its development. Due to COVID, he transitioned to recruitment, achieving top billing at Barrington James. Combining his aircraft MRO and aviation expertise, Charlie now thrives as a Senior Consultant at LineUp Aviation. Outside of work he pursues his passion for flying and nears completion of his PPL training.

Daniel Trott Junior Operations Analyst

Dan Trott joined the Line Up family to help manage and maintain data, as well as streamline processes. He graduated from Canterbury Christ Church University in 2021 with a First Class Bachelor of Science Honors degree. After university, Dan obtained project management qualifications, becoming certified in Agile, PRINCE2, and Change Management. This helped him secure a role as a software analyst, where he spent a few years supporting the company’s software and managing clients’ data. He has since joined us and is undertaking multiple projects, excelling in meeting the day-to-day needs of the business.
When he is not at work, Dan enjoys playing golf most weekends (or as much as his fiancée will allow!), taking his dog on long countryside walks, and spending as much time with his family and friends as possible.

Giuliano Prando Project Manager - Italy

Giuliano graduated in aerospace engineering at Politecnico di Milano in 1998. The following year he started working for an engineering company as a consultant in Agusta SpA (now Leonardo Helicopter) where he worked on simulation of external noise spreads by helicopters. From 2004 to 2010 always in Leonardo Helicopter he developed a Genetic Algorithm Code and use it to optimise performance of tiltrotor aircraft and helicopter inside aerodynamic department. In 2010 he has been involved in the preliminary design of aerodynamic performances of the “Project Zero” All-Electric Tilt-Rotor Technology Demonstrator by Agusta-Westland.
Starting from 2011 began to collaborate with Flight Mechanics department of Leonardo Helicopter developing, together with his colleague Lorenzo Frigerio, a software to evaluate helicopter and tiltrotor performance.
In 2017 he joined Line Up Aviation s.r.l. guiding an engineer team for Line Up Aviation working for the Flight Mechanics department of Leonardo Helicopter for different activities.
He has also more than 20 years of experience in Machinery Directive field.
He spends his spare time playing the guitar, swimming, riding the bicycle and running.
Tiziana Zampieri Finance Manager - Italy

Tiziana Zampieri has over 25 years of Administrative assistant experienced.
She Graduated in accounting in 1995. She worked for Logikstir for over 15 years bring over a large packet of administrative skills. Among the tasks she dealt with: bank management; administrative management (issuing of invoices, bills, verification of payments control and verification of registers);warehouse management (incoming outgoing, checking and arranging stocks issuing and creating coding, preparation and fulfillment of orders); customer and supplier management; personnel management (daily coordination of work, evaluation daily to improve timing).
She has been working for Line Up Aviation SRL since 2018 interfacing daily with the payroll and accountant office in Italy. Using a software for proper office management.
She spends her spare time watching Netflix, reading Books and meeting with her friends.
Alessandro Mereghetti Recruitment Manager, Italy

Alessandro Mereghetti is an enthusiastic aerospace engineer with experience in project management.
The work experience gained by working with international companies in the aerospace and electromechanical fields, such as Leonardo Elicotteri S.p.a, ENEL S.pa. and Lavazza S.p.a, has increased its ability to manage the customer and the team of collaborators.
Alessandro joined the Line Up Aviation team in 2019, making his managerial experience available to increase the network of customers and candidates in the Italian office of Line Up SRL.

Ferruccio Brianza Customer Support - Italy

Ferruccio began his career during his studies period, working for about 5 years in a law firm dealing with insurance practices and out-of-court negotiations.
In 2008 he graduated in “Science in Legal Services for business consultant” and opened his own real estate brokerage agency as a legal representative with habilitation in the register of business agents.
In 2014 he began working with Leonardo’s Helicopter Division, becoming Vendor Register Manager, dealing with the qualification process of suppliers for ITA and UK in collaboration with the governance and purchasing division of the group.
He joined Line UP Aviation at the end of 2017 and moved to Sesto Calende facility, where he currently supports the ground stations dedicated to H/C flight planning and achieves the first certificate of “Instructional Techniques” at Leonardo Training Academy.

Giulia Scopel Internship - Italy

Giulia Scopel, after attending Strategic Communication at IULM University and graduating in 2021, started a stage in a Bistrot to strengthen its brand reputation and brand positioning, by managing its social media accounts, by interacting with the different stakeholders and by creating the website.
She joined Line Up Aviation in April, in 2022 and started an internship dedicated to H/C flight planning and support at Leonardo, in Sesto Calende.
One of Giulia’s passion has always been sport; Giulia used to practice swimming, basketball, track and field, tennis and qwan ki do. Giulia is bold, she loves challenges, meeting up with friends and reading thriller books.
