Job Title: Wiring Harness Technician – Turbofan Engines

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Wiring Harness Technician to join our team. In this role, you will perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, modification, testing, and inspection of aviation accessory components for turbofan engines. Your expertise will ensure the reliable operation of critical aviation systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform repairs, modifications, and testing in compliance with manufacturer instructions and established repair station processes.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot product failures, implementing necessary maintenance to restore full functionality.
• Operate electronic test equipment to conduct testing and identify issues.
• Utilize hand tools proficiently to execute maintenance tasks.
• Perform soldering tasks in accordance with industry standards.
• Accurately document all completed work and inspections.
• Communicate effectively with managers and team members to ensure efficient workflow.
• Execute routine production assembly operations on CFM56 engine mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and aircraft systems using OEM manuals and procedures.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have the following knowledge, skills, and experience:

• Experience: 2+ years of experience with engine harness wire routing, wire dressing, harness repairs, and cannon plug repairs on turbofan jet engines.
• Technical Skills:
  • Expertise in wire hookups, resistance, and continuity checks.
  • Proficiency in functional testing of fuel nozzles.
  • Experience testing and repairing ball screw actuators and VSV actuators.
  • Competency with testing equipment.
