My client manages component repairs for their customers’ aircraft and looks after their warranties, to ensure costs are kept as low as possible.

They are now seeking an Aviation Warranty Engineer to work onsite with one of their customers in either Dusseldorf or Frankfurt, Germany.

Main responsibilities of the Warranty Engineer:

  • Daily review of airline tech logs to identify and claim compensation for Line Maintenance defects.
  • Assess Heavy Maintenance work packs to identify material and labour claims with OEMs.
  • Review of SBs for warranty entitlement associated with support claims.
  • Assess warranty rejections and liaise with suppliers to seek clarification when decisions are unjustified.
  • Analyse and review expendable equipment to identify individual part claims and quarantines for batch claims.
  • Build relationships at all levels with customers & within organisations, both internally and externally.
  • Provide a point of contact for data retrieval, problem resolution and advice.
  • Enforce contractual terms and recover associated benefits.
  • Apply continuous improvement to develop processes, procedures and systems, to meet the customers’ needs.
  • Lead and support programme reviews.
  • Identify, create and manage warranty claims for component, line maintenance, heavy maintenance and other events.
  • Maintain regular verbal & written updates with the UK team

Ideal candidate profile:
* Have a passion for aviation.
* Hold a Degree in a Business or Engineering discipline or have relevant work experience in an aircraft maintenance or warranty organisation for 2 years+.
* Strong MS Excel skills essential.
* Some AMOS experience is beneficial.
* Strong time management skills, initiative, and a passion for aviation
* An ability to prioritise multiple projects.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Fluency in both English & German.
* Be able to build multi-level relationships within organisations, both internally and externally.
* Be happy to undertake some European travel and visit the alternative German facility c. 2x month.
