Job Title: VP Aircraft Maintenance & Manufacturing

Scope of Role
The Vice President of Aircraft Maintenance & Manufacturing (VP AM&M) oversees the comprehensive maintenance and manufacturing operations at our client’s MRO facility in Jeddah. This role is accountable for the maintenance and engineering services of commercial aircraft, corporate business jets, VIP, and military aircraft under commercial contracts. Additionally, responsibilities include the interior design and refurbishment of VIP aircraft and the manufacturing of aircraft components.
The VP AM&M plays a pivotal role in providing strategic leadership to ensure the MRO operations align with and support the company’s objectives.
The VP will report directly to the President & CEO. There are 4 Director posts reporting into the VP AM&M role.
Ket Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Review, evaluate and report on the performance of all current contracts as well as evaluating the bids and new contracts to ensure consistency as per company business practise and objectives.
- Direct all activities related to aircraft maintenance and manufacturing with the aim of maximising production output while maintaining the highest levels of quality and control
- Review the pricing of bids to ensure all cost has been taken into consideration and margins are appropriate.
- Coordinate activities of the directors of manufacturing, civil maintenance, and quality
- Direct activities related to achieving and maintaining the airworthiness of aircraft
- Develop maintenance and aircraft production policies, tools and processes
- Coordinate and support the business and department leaders to establish work priorities, workflow and standards as well as analyse and resolve work problems as they arise.
- Work with the Executive leadership on strategic business development and key corporate planning issues that impact the operation of the company.
Experience
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in FAR Part 145 MRO Organisations and not less than 10 years working at a Senior Management level
- Experience of working at a Senior level within a significant international MRO organisation
- Experience working in international markets, Middle East preferable
- Knowledge of airline heavy maintenance and outsourcing operations
- Military aircraft maintenance experience is desirable
- Knowledge of VIP aircraft interior design, construction and installation is desirable
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering/science/business administration or any related field is required
- MBA preferred
