The Role:
As Vice President, you will play a pivotal role in driving profitability, operational excellence, and strategic growth while ensuring strict compliance with aviation regulatory requirements. This position demands:

✔ Leadership in expanding capabilities and optimizing operations
✔ Experience as an Accountable Manager, ensuring safety, quality, and commercial success
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Business Growth
- Spearhead the modernization and operational transformation.
- Drive the achievement of operational KPIs and financial targets, ensuring top-tier performance across all UK facilities.
- Standardize processes in alignment with Business Unit Aviation standards to enhance efficiency and compliance.
- Lead the expansion of product repair capabilities, with a particular focus on boosting operational capacity at their second facility.
- Develop and execute a growth strategy for both UK sites, including investments in cutting-edge equipment, talent acquisition, and process enhancements.
- Cultivate a strong, positive company culture by embedding the Group’s mission, vision, and values at every level.
- Implement sustainable recruitment and retention strategies to attract and develop top talent.
- Identify and drive efficiency improvements and synergies within the Aviation Group to maximize performance and profitability.
Commercial Strategy, P&L Management & Market Growth
- Own full P&L responsibility, driving revenue growth, cost control, and overall profitability.
- Develop and execute commercial strategies to expand market share and strengthen competitive positioning.
- Identify new business opportunities and revenue streams through in-depth market analysis and customer insights.
- Foster and strengthen relationships with key customers, suppliers, and stakeholders to enhance commercial success.
- Negotiate high-value contracts, pricing structures, and service agreements, ensuring optimal margins and long-term profitability.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, proactively adapting business strategies to market shifts, competitor activity, and regulatory changes.
Operational & Project Management
- Drive the introduction of new repair capabilities, including facility expansion and strategic investment in advanced test equipment.
- Develop and execute a growth plan for both sites, expanding its repair and servicing capabilities to maximize operational potential.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize overall performance.
- Implement cutting-edge processes, tools, and equipment to improve safety, productivity, and cost-effectiveness across operations.
Financial Oversight & Cost Control
- Drive financial performance through effective budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives.
- Provide strategic recommendations on investments, cash flow management, and resource allocation to maximize profitability.
- Develop business cases for capability expansions, with a strong focus on growth, ensuring a high return on investment (ROI).
- Monitor and manage financial health, including KPIs, debtor days, cash flow, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
- Shape pricing strategies for repairs and large multi-chapter contracts, optimizing margins and market competitiveness.
Quality, Safety & Compliance
- Serve as the Accountable Manager, ensuring full compliance with aviation safety and quality regulations.
- Maintain strict adherence to documentation control, quality assurance, and financial record-keeping.
- Oversee repair and overhaul activities, ensuring safety, efficiency, and full compliance with regulatory standards.
- Directly manage safety, quality control, and risk management to uphold the highest operational standards.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in overseeing end-to-end business operations, driving commercial strategy, productivity, and compliance with aviation safety and quality regulations.
- Strong commercial acumen, with a track record of driving revenue growth, cost efficiency, and overall profitability.
- Expertise in contract negotiation, pricing strategies, and business development to support sustainable growth.
- Demonstrated leadership ability in fostering a diverse, inclusive, and high-performing team.
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving, mediation, and conflict resolution skills, ensuring effective decision-making in complex situations.
- Proficiency in office software and large ERP systems, with the ability to leverage technology for operational efficiency.
