On behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit a Tool Maintenance Technician on an initial 12-month contract. As Tool Maintenance Technician you will work within a workshop environment carrying out diagnoses and repairs under general supervision.
Role: Tool Maintenance Technician
Pay: £23.84 per hour Via Umbrella
Location: Filton
Contract: Monday- Friday, 35 Hours per week, 12 Months contract
IR35 Status: Inside
Security Clearance: BPSS
Responsibilities
- Participate as part of an integrated tool maintenance & calibration team, responsible to execute
- Planned, corrective, fault finding and repair activities on a range of plant operations tooling & equipment in a safe, timely and quality manner to maximise plant & equipment availability, maintain asset integrity and achieve business objectives
- Undertake preparation of equipment to company standards in a safe manner for use within an operational environment
- Carry out daily housekeeping of workplace and tools to ensure a clean working environment
Essential Skills:
- A HNC in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent
- A background in mechanical, electrical or automated equipment maintenance
- Experience in hazard identification and control and have a safety-first mindset
- Good communication interpersonal skills in English
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good level of computer literacy
- Experience of computerised maintenance management systems
