My client manages aircraft component repair services as well as component warranties for their aviation industry clients, ensuring costs to clients are closely controlled.

They are now seeking a Technical Services Engineer to work onsite with one of their aviation customers in Madrid, Spain.

The successful candidate will be contributing towards their clients’ savings associated with Value Engineering, managing warranties & guarantees, and other value stream activities.

Main Responsibilities:
* Evaluate and review repair quotations to ensure costs are fair, enforce contracts, optimise warranties and tactically reduce costs.
* Review and analyse warranty rejections and quotations.
* Review and analyse rogue units, NFF and Defect on Arrival events.
* Monitor and identify opportunities for reliability management and complete reliability reports
* To be the go-to department for engineering/technical issues and provide subject matter expertise to other internal departments.
* Work with other teams to support Cost Reduction Programmes.
* Achieve or exceed contractual customer requirements.
* Identifying areas of opportunity in process, customer service and Return on Investment.

Ideal candidate profile:
* Hold a Degree in a Business or Engineering discipline or have relevant work experience in an aircraft maintenance or warranty organisation for 2 years+.
* Strong MS Excel skills essential.
* Some AMOS experience is beneficial.
* Strong time management skills, initiative, and a passion for aviation
* Excellent interpersonal skills, clear communication and ability to negotiate effectively.
* An ability to prioritise multiple projects.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Be able to build multi-level relationships within organisations, both internally and externally.
* Fluency in both English & Spanish
* Be happy to undertake some travel to visit customer sites.
