On behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit a Technical Administrator to join them on a 6-month contract. As the Technical Administrator, you will provide a professional, flexible and proactive support service to the SHE department.
Role: Technical Administrator
Pay: Up to £16.50 per hour PAYE
Location: Stevenage – hybrid working
Contract: Monday- Friday, 35 hours per week, 6 months
IR35 Status: Inside
Security Clearance: SC Clearance
Responsibilities:
- Provide pro-active, accurate and comprehensive administrative support to the SHE team
- Provide local expertise and support in the key IT based applications:
- Maintain and update MS Excel spread sheets, PowerPoint presentations and MS Word documents accurately and timely.
- Track and maintain the database, risk assessments, audits, outstanding actions
- Understand & utilise Company IT systems i.e. SAP, EPROC, SELF IT, 4Cast, PLANON, ONEHR and other specialist tools and databases
- Problem solving as required to ensure smooth running of the domain
- Discretion when handling personal and Company data
- Arrange travel for identified SHE team members
- Provide meeting co-ordination and participation
- Provide management and maintenance of SHE email inbox
- Co-ordinate arrangements for on-site or off-site meetings and events, attend and participate as required
- Provide specific support to the Project and/or functional teams
- Specific tasks and projects to be defined in the workplace
- DSE administration and support
- Provide general business support to the Project and/or Functional teams
- Assist the general engineering project and/or functional population to optimise efficiency throughout the business
- These tasks may be varied and ad-hoc in scope
- Maintain and analyse data, create reports and present findings
Skillset/experience required:
- Understanding of SHE processes
- Intermediate level of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Experience of working in a support function across a range of support and administrative activities
- Good written and verbal communication skills using accurate spelling and grammar
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
- Self-motivation and ability to adapt to changing environment and evolving technologies
- Managing IOSH desirable
- Experience in Health and Safety Advantageous
- Experience in Aerospace/defence desirable
