System Engineer

My client is a multinational company that provides certification, ship classification, product testing, site supervision and supplier inspection, training and engineering consultancy services across a wide range of sectors.
For the Space & Defence division, they are looking for a:

Role: System Engineer
Pay: to be defined on the basis of experience
Location: Rome
Contract: Permanent

Main Responsibilities
The System Engineer will be responsible for managing engineering requirements and supporting the design of complex system in defense sector.
The main responsibilities will be:
Design of complex systems
Development of technical documentation (SSS, SSSDD, DJF, etc.)
Tracing of requirements through DOORS and allocation to subsystems
Requirements flow-down (Knowledge of the development V model)
Requirements
Experience in integration and validation of systems / subsystems.
Experience in system engineering process and requirements management is required.
The following specific skills are positively assessed:
Requirements management (DOORS is an asset)
Previous experience in integration activities is considered as a plus.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), Matlab and Wireshark.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in electronics / telecommunications/ etc.
