Our client is looking for an experienced Structured Cabling Sales Specialist on a permanent basis. You will own the opportunity from the point of qualification, develop the opportunity in line with the sales process and drive the deal through to its natural conclusion. As the Structured Cabling Sales Specialist you will coordinate the necessary sales, bid and presales capability together to create a compelling proposition for the customer, and bring the opportunity through the necessary governance processes appropriate for the value.

Clearance: Vetting Process before start
Salary: Up to £70,000 depending on experience

  • Own and manage the sales opportunities for our customers – maintained in an up to date
  • ‘live’ Opportunity pipeline and forecasts in Salesforce.
  • Accurately maintain information relating to all open opportunities in Salesforce where you are the opportunity owner.
  • Deliver against Targets and goals as set-out in your objectives and target letter whilst adhering to the values.
  • Own the “Win Price” and solution strategy whilst been aware of, and understand, the overall P&L.
  • Develop and maintain an up-to-date knowledge on all the company Portfolio and have an awareness of the wider portfolio.
  • Support the Sales Director in developing the Portfolio strategy and virtual team to drive improvements and innovation that are aligned to the strategy of the business.
  • Maintain strong governance processes adhering to Group, Divisional and contractual compliance requirements, and policies.

Essential Skills/Experience

  • Track record of selling, and ideally knowledge of the structured cabling market
  • Experience in successful delivery of Sales targets
  • Builds a customer focused culture within the business.
  • Ability to personally close opportunities.
  • Ability to be creative in commercial offerings and guide product and service development.
  • Able to travel and stay away from home when required.
  • A person who can bring to life the Company VOICE Values.
  • Outstanding presentation skills.
  • Outstanding business writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and on own initiative as well as in project teams.
  • A fast learner who can understand business issues and identify and articulate solutions.
