Our client has an opportunity for a Senior Pensions Technician to join them on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for ensuring the projects are completed in line with procedural and client requirements and within service level agreements.
Role: Senior Pensions Technician
Location: Home based or Home/Office Hybrid Working
Hours: Full Time, Permanent
Pay: Discussed Upon Application
Responsibilities:
- To work with the Pensions Technicians, Pensions Technician Specialists, Data Service Delivery Manager and Client Relationship Managers to deliver requirements for projects within KPIs (time scales, deliverables, quality, sign off) and guide the planning process
- To ensure accuracy and quality of data projects
- To understand, build, maintain and enhance customer relationships representing the department in key meetings with internal and external project stakeholders
- To build, maintain and enhance the team’s competence in order to improve delivery of the customer experience and to ensure we treat customers fairly
- Regularly review the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and controls and make suggestions to continually enhance service delivery, improve processes and reduce potential complaints and business risks
- Checking calculations and completing all tasks in line with current work procedures to provide input into the costing of data projects
- To support the team on complex cases, high value cases and complaints
- To complete checking to ensure accuracy is maintained
- To challenge the activities inside and outside the team in order to improve the customer experience
- To attend meetings or join calls to update clients and the business on project progress
Requirements:
- DB Pensions experience
- Excel: can perform a vlookup and produce pivot tables and use appropriate formulas to interpret results
Ability to understand, interpret and input into project plans - Ability to evaluate and track progress against a project plan
- Can identify gaps and errors in complex data
- Can interpret complex data and make recommendations
