My client is looking for a Project Planner to join them on an initial 6-month basis. As the Project Planner you will be responsible for the development, deployment and ongoing management of the Primavera Integrated Plan Network Practicing, promoting and upholding the company standard of Planning and Scheduling.

Role: Project Planner
Pay: Up to £57 per hour via Umbrella
Location: Bristol
Contract: 6 Months
Hours: Monday – Friday, 37 hours per week
Security Clearance: Security Clearance to start, UK eyes only project

Responsibilities:

  • Steering the validation of Project level schedules as accurate, coherent and in accordance with the Programme planning principles.
  • Validation of individual Project assessments and identification of issues and risks within the Project assessments for discussion with the project.
  • Supporting the generation and maintenance of the Integrated Baseline schedule to successfully deliver the programme in accordance with planning principles.
  • Validation of Project level costs to go as accurate and appropriate, including assessment of outlying forecasts, to support the EAC.
  • Contributing to the generation of Schedule Risk Analysis across the Projects
  • Active involvement in Bid Team activity, ensuring Project schedule and control is appropriately considered and implemented.

Skillset/experience required:

  • Planning experience – ranging from detailed planning to summary level milestone delivery plans.
  • Capability in creating and maintaining project structures (WBS/CBS/OBS).
  • Experience in generating and analysing project performance data (schedule, resource, and cost).
  • Ability to perform and analyse Critical Path Analysis.
  • Motivation to determine root cause and identify corrective action.
  • Experience of Project Management Toolsets (Primavera/SAP/ARM).
  • Knowledge of Baseline Management and Change Control.
  • Accountability for project data – owning the quality of the project control reporting suite.
  • Ability to influence, work independently and be part of an integrated multi-functional team.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to foster collaborative working relationships with colleagues at all levels.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and manage conflicting demands.
