My client is looking for a Project Manager Energy and Sustainability to join on them on a 12 month contract. As a Project Manager Energy and Sustainability, you will be responsible for supporting the Multi-Functional-Team (MFT) for Energy (e.g. electricity, gas, or other) whose mission it is to manage the energy decarbonisation across all the group. As such, you guide the execution of the green energy transformation strategy across all the group in support of all customers and lead efforts in influencing corporate approaches to decarbonisation.

Pay: £45.00 per hour via Umbrella (Inside IR35)
Location: Stevenage
Contract: 12 months
Hours: 37 hours per week Monday – Friday (Hybrid is an option at business discretion 3 days onsite and 2 days WFH)

Job Profile
Within Facility Management & Real Estate Procurement, the company is involved in some of the most exciting sustainability initiatives within (Carbon Market, Renewable Energy, Sustainable Aviation Fuel, sustainable buildings).
With the SBTi validation of the company’s near-term greenhouse gas emission reduction targets, you will directly work on Airbus’ contribution to stay on track to limit the global temperature increase to 1.5°C.
- Manage project portfolio in terms of progress tracking and action follow up.
- Supporting the preparation of reports/data on Energy/Sustainability sourcing activities by collecting the inputs autonomously from different sources.
- Support the preparation of adhoc Specifications or updating existing work specifications, integrating new requirements, improving deliverables definition.
- Coordinating discussions and data gathering with technical leaders to define deliverables list, associated work load for specific activities. Producing adequate reports.
- KPI management from collection to incorporation of the KPI’s and their graphical representation into reporting and communication tools.
- Preparing Awareness Sessions Material based on existing inputs.
- Lesson learnt management and coordination with stakeholders.
- Collecting data in support of Business manager (Procurement and Facility Management) and supporting market analysis (competences, suppliers, niche experts), through data analysis, supporting supplier roadmaps development and maintenance)
- Manage internal communication and prepare communication kits.
- Risk and opportunities identification, review and update.
Skills/Experience Required
- Multiple years of experience in project and program management
- Business fluent in English
- Strong communication skills that allow a confident presentation in front of senior executives
- Strong stakeholder management skills, analytical skills and visualization skills
- The preferred candidate has work experience energy and sustainability.
- Supporting the Procurement team and buyers
Education & Training
Essential – Strong experience in a similar role
PM qualifications desirable
