On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Project Change Consultant – Pensions to join on an initial 12-month contract. As the Project Change Consultant – Pensions you will ensure all aspects of a transition and change project are delivered on time and to a high standard within a controlled project environment.
Role: Project Change Consultant – Pensions
Pay: £510 per day Via Umbrella
Location: Remote
Contract: Monday – Friday 40Hours per week, 12 Months contract
IR35 Status: Inside
Security Clearance: BPSS
Responsibilities
- Gather and interpret client requirements and processes, and translate these into system solutions
- Manage system configuration activities and quality
- Deliver calculation automation
- Risk and issue identification and mitigation
- Lead client implementation projects
- Facilitate internal and external system training, and provide appropriate documentation
- Troubleshoot and resolve client queries and issues
- Support Project Managers and Implementation Consultants through the efficient delivery of project tasks
- Mentor and coach Implementation Analysts
- Promote best practice across the team and provide a platform for continuous improvement
- Ensure Evolve procedures are followed and documents produced for applicable project and quality gates
Essential Skills:
- Understanding of DB Pensions
- MS Excel – Demonstrate the ability to use filters, sorting, pivot tables (rows, columns, grouping, filters and totalling), lookups, control totals, IF and nested IF statements and formatting of cells to specific guidelines
- Handling sensitive client data/Data Management
- Time Management
- Pensions and/or employee benefits administration processes/software
- Client Relationships – Appropriate communication methods used to relay information to stakeholders
- Project Management/Experience of working in a project environment – End to end experience of the project lifecycle – able to describe the key elements of projects including initiation, governance, control and closure and can provide examples of active participation in all of these stages
- Hartlink knowledge/experience – Familiar with member records and their set up
- Client meetings and presentations – Effectively uses CES templates for presentations and documentation
- Quality Management – Assess the quality of the configured product and documentation
- People Management – Collaborate with others to solve problems
- System Testing and/or User Acceptance Testing – Able to draft, check and interpret calculation proformas in order to draft and check scenario matrices to incorporate all relevant scenarios
- Online offering – Demonstrate ability to analyse web requirement document and pull out aspects that impact calculations
