Order Handler

My client is looking for an Order Handler to join on them on a 6 month contract. As an Order Handler, you will be responsible for processing and monitoring of service orders, supporting the customer and internal teams to ensure requests are fulfilled correctly. Working within a small team and alongside the customer, this is an office-based role with Monday to Friday shift working and 24/7 on call.
Role: Order Handler
Pay: £20.01per hour via Umbrella (Inside IR35)
Location: Corsham, Wiltshire
Contract: 6 months
Hours: 37 hours per week Monday – Friday (Onsite, shifts to cover 24/7 workload + Overtime)
Security Clearance: Current SC Clearance – British Nationals Only

Job Profile

• Receiving service requests from the customer and inputting details onto appropriate system tools
• Providing advice to customers to ensure orders are placed correctly
• Monitoring requests through to fulfilment, meeting KPIs and SLAs
• Keeping the customer and internal teams updated on progress
• Supporting the Order Handling Team Leader with general administration duties that the business may require

Skills/Experience Required
Essential Skills & Experiences

• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Excellent standard of written and spoken English
• Intermediate knowledge and current use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and especially Outlook)
• Confidence, patience, politeness, tact and diplomacy, when dealing with difficult situations
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Good general admin skills and the ability to prioritise workload

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Telecommunications knowledge
• Good problem analysis and solving skills
• Good team player, adaptable and flexible
• Previously held Security Clearance
• Experience of Web interface applications

Education & Training
Essential – Strong experience in a similar role
