Occupational Health Nurse

On behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit an Occupational Health Nurse to join them on a 3 – 6 month contract (part time). This is an exciting opportunity in a pro-active occupational health team for an experienced adaptable OH Nurse who also likes the challenge of multi-tasking and is great working with new developing practices and systems. The role will support the team in delivering a best practice health & wellbeing, health risk management (OH) service to employees.

Role: Occupational Health Nurse
Pay: Up to £31.64 per hour via Umbrella
Location: Stevenage
Contract: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday – onsite (part time 22 hours per week)
IR35 Status: Inside
Security Clearance: BPSS

Responsibilities:

• Delivering a proactive face to face technical function involving travel health, health surveillance, health pre-employment assessments, fitness assessments, lifestyle screening and health & wellbeing campaigns

Skills / Experience Required:

• An NMC Registered Nurse – Essential
• Experienced OH Nursing setting – Essential
• Experienced in Spirometry and audiometry (formally trained- essential)
• Travel health vaccinations /experience – essential
• Passionate about health & wellbeing
• Phlebotomy skills – desirable
• ECG skills – desirable
• A self-starter – to succeed in this role, you need to be proactive, organised and able to multi-task well
