Our client has an opportunity for an Aircraft Technician to join them on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established organisation supporting the MoD, providing class leading support engineering support.
Role: Aircraft Technician – Hawk
Location: Holyhead, Anglesey
Hours: Full Time 37.5 hours weekly
To be successful in your application it is a requirement that you hold UK ‘right to work’ at the time of application.
This role is working on the Hawk TMk2 within a maintenance environment at RAF Valley. The Technician will be required to carry out airframe and/or propulsion maintenance tasks to a high standard whilst ensuring compliance and airworthiness adherence.
Main Duties
Undertake and complete depth maintenance & diagnostic activities on an aircraft or components which may include, as appropriate, scheduled maintenance, component removals, inspections, repairs, modifications, fault rectifications, replacements and/or functional/system test.
What do I need to do the role?
- Completion of an Engineering Apprenticeship, ideally in Aeronautical Engineering, or Military equivalent apprenticeship / qualifications.
- Academic qualification for this role is a minimum of City & Guilds 2675 Aeronautical Engineering and Maintenance or NVQ Level 3 Aeronautical related discipline.
- Consideration will be given to applicants who have completed Trade Principles and Aircraft platform training with continued employment subject to successful completion of the B3(T) Pathway within 2 years.
