I am seeking an ISC Material Lead to work in a hybrid contract for my client just south-west of Leicester.

Pay rate – between £20 – £25 per hour (PAYE only). Plus holiday pay in addition.
Start date – ASAP
Hours – Mon-Fri. 8am – 4pm
Hybrid working model – 3 days in office, 2 days from home.

Overview:
* Works to understand upstream supply capacities & constraints and report the key concerns.
* Manages the sales forecast expectations against inventory and lead time constraints.
* Gives forward planning requirements to the manufacturing plants to facilitate on-time delivery of content.

Main Responsibilities of the Material Lead:
* Analyse historic material requirements to understand supply and demand model and react to market variances.
* Manage material and capacity planning of First Party suppliers, Third Party suppliers and outsource assembly partners
* Evaluate performance off supply chain and maintain metric reporting.
* Manage live status records of live orders in terms of material availability and actual versus planned status
* Arranges Vendor Manufacturing Agreements, negotiates terms and observes quality of completed Stations
* Maintain Invoice Prediction forecast based on known material availability, outsource partner capacity and actual build status.
* Chair Production meeting and manage all stakeholder expectations.
* Provide forecast and status information to Sales team and end customer where required.
* Integrated business planning using monthly forward looking processes.
* First escalation point for material issues and ensures issues are resolved in a timely manner.
