Maintenance Manager – Arizona
About: Headquartered in the USA, our client boasts over 35 years of industry experience and operates across 10 locations in the US, Canada, and the UK. As a rapidly expanding, EASA and FAA-certified Part 145 aircraft component repair specialist, they are a trusted leader in the field.
They are looking for a Maintenane Manager to work on-site in Arizona.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee Departmental Operations: Direct and coordinate activities across departments focused on production, sales, and distribution.
- Staff Management: Develop and manage work schedules, assign tasks, and oversee staff performance.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with company standards by adhering to quality procedures and manuals.
- Performance Analysis: Review sales and operational metrics, activity reports, and performance data to assess productivity, achieve goals, and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements.
- Workflow Optimization: Manage and enhance workflows, addressing constraints and bottlenecks for improved efficiency.
- Personnel Leadership: Lead and manage staffing needs, including interviewing, hiring, cross-training, and onboarding new employees.
- Process Improvement: Implement shop floor optimizations and lean improvements while resolving conflicts to drive profitable growth.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other management teams to allocate resources effectively and meet operational goals.
- Proactive Problem Solving: Identify and address potential issues early, working with other leaders to find mutually beneficial solutions.
- Customer Focus: Resolve customer concerns by adjusting resources, schedules, or contractual terms to meet their needs.
What You’ll Bring:
- Experience: 5-10 years of part 145 maintenance and operations management experience.
- Certification: FAA Airframe License is required.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of fields like engineering, contracts administration, or program management.
- Communication Skills: Fluent in verbal and written English with strong communication abilities.
- Technical Proficiency: Competence in computer use, including MS Office applications.
- Team Player: Ability to contribute ideas and solutions within a team setting.
