My client is looking for a Logistics / Warehouse Worker to join on them on a 3 month contract. As a Logistics / Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for warehouse operations and activities. Warehouse Worker responsibilities include storing materials, picking, packing and scanning orders. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction.
Role: Logistics / Warehouse Worker
Pay: £10 -12 per hour PAYE
Location: Cannock, Staffs
Contract: 3 months
Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday – Friday 8am – 4.30pm

Job Profile
* Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship) to deadlines
* Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
* Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
* Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation
* Complete diary logs into inventory
* Report any discrepancies
* Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers
* Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment
* Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulation Build, Pack and ship outbound customer orders

Experience
* Proven working experience as a Warehouse Worker
* Proficiency in inventory software, databases and systems ; preferably SAP
* Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
* Good organisational and time management skills
* Ability to understand safe liftin practices
* Current forklift license (Preferable, not essential)

Education & Training
Essential – Strong experience in a similar role
