I am currently recruiting for a Line Station Manager, as a certifying engineer who is not part of the standard station roster, the role requires administrative and managerial duties with aircraft support as deemed appropriate by them. They are responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of their line station as well as meeting all regulatory needs and reporting any deficiencies to the Operational Maintenance Manager for their region.

Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Development:
- Effectively manage, motivate, and develop a technically skilled and proactive team.
- Foster a professional, collaborative work culture with strong work ethics and accountability.
- Build strong relationships with departmental managers and lead by example.
Regulatory & Budget Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with EASA, CAA, and station regulations.
- Develop and maintain procedures to meet regulatory standards.
- Manage station budgets, control costs, and address non-conformities within deadlines.
Line Maintenance Oversight:
- Maintain an efficient station structure to support airline operations.
- Ensure adequate staffing, improve KPIs, and oversee 3rd-party suppliers.
- Monitor staff qualifications, provide regular briefings, and enforce H&S responsibilities.
Communication:
- Maintain clear communication across stations and departments.
- Hold regular meetings with supervisors and senior management.
- Encourage open dialogue among team members.
Operational Support:
- Oversee line stores operations, ensuring compliance and conducting regular audits.
- Provide out-of-hours support, coordinate resources, and make timely decisions during emergencies.
Ad-Hoc Duties:
- Undertake tasks assigned by senior management as required.
- To be reachable, and able to make timely decisions in order to address any emergencies and urgent operational issues outside regular office hours
- To coordinate with the Duty Manager/Team leader / the team if necessary to ensure appropriate resources, specialist support and staffing are available to meet urgent operational challenges
Essential Experience & Qualifications
- O level or GCSE A-C standard grades
- Communicator and Man Manager
- Experience of customer-based A/C
- Ability to be acceptable to the authorities
- Qualified Part66 Licence holder
- Supervisory and or Managerial experience
- Engineering background
- Basic P+L skills
- Excel, Word, Power Point
- SGHA Knowledge
- Team Leader and Motivator
- Organisational Skills
- Negotiation skills
- Self-Starter
