Job Title: IT Software Engineer
Permanent Position
Location: Basel, Switzerland
Starting ASAP
Job Description
Position and Responsibilities
– Develop, document and support suitable applications in accordance with customer needs
– Support existing solutions (VB.NET, SSIS, SQL, VBA)
– Design, implement, monitor and maintain databases
– Prepare technical specifications based on requirements & other documentation
– Prepare Business Intelligence reports (SSRS, QlikView)
– Modernize existing data models (e.g.: API’s, Web development)
– Assist and support the IT Process Engineers in various other tasks
– Identification and coordination of process improvements with the Business (ideally)
– Prepare user manuals for applications and execute workshops with end-users
Qualifications and Experience
– Bachelor or master degree in computer science or similar
– Working experience in a similar position (3+ years)
– Basic SQL knowledge
– Advanced programming skills
– Experience with AMOS software as a plus
– Experience in Aviation Industry as a plus
– Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools
– Good English skills (verbal and written), French and/or German as a plus
– Strong organization & communication skills
– Flexibility, ability to work in a team
