My client is looking for an Industrial Maintenance/Factory Cleaner to join on them for a permanent role. As an Industrial Maintenance / Factory Cleaner, you will be responsible for the maintenance department ensuring the factory / site is kept clean at all times.
Role: Industrial Maintenance / Factory Cleaner
Pay: £20,000 – 23,000 per annum PAYE
Location: Hayes, Middlesex
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 40 hours per week Monday – Friday 06.00 – 14.00 and 13.55 – 21.55
Security Clearance: BPSS
Job Profile
- The employee will be responsible for all basic cleaning on site, (shop floor only).
- Sweeping /washing of floors corridors / bays etc.
- Emptying of all rubbish bins / swarf bins
- Painting , maintaining factory floors walls
- Assist the maintenance department in project works as and when required.
- Work on his or her own initiative and ensure the individual keeps the area of responsibility to the standard’s required and set out by the company
- Ensuring all equipment is kept clean and in good working order.
- The job role will require some lifting.
- Good physical fitness for performing demanding tasks.
Skills/Experience Required
- Ideally have a good understanding of all aspects of general maintenance cleaning.
- A clear understanding of Health & Safety obligations as well as environmental impact.
- Basic computer skills
- Right to work within the UK without any restrictions.
Education & Training
- Educated to at least GCSE level
- Good level of English both verbal and written.
