General Aviation Line Technician

On behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit a General Aviation Line Technician on a permanent basis. As the General Aviation Line Technician, you will assist in the ground movement of aircraft and be a key part of the company’s flight-line operations.

Role: General Aviation Line Technician
Pay: On application
Location: Somerset
Role Type: Full time / permanent

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of aircraft for the upcoming days flying, conducting see-in and see-off procedures as well as being authorised to carry out fuel and oil replenishment on the aircraft, as well as:
• Undertaking scheduled and corrective maintenance and completing all documentation in accordance with current legislation and company procedures.
• There will be some general duties as required, including (but not limited to), driving, stores duties, housekeeping and other responsibilities as allocated by the LAE or SOM.

Skills / experience required:

• Aircraft engineering experience.
• Ability to demonstrate practical and theoretical standards required
• Driving Licence

Education & Training

• Recognised Aircraft Apprenticeship, military experience or NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
• The successful candidate must be able to achieve BPSS security clearance for this role.
