Our client has an opportunity for a Flying Instructor to join them on a permanent basis. You will be providing flying training using Grob 115E aircraft, in a fast paced, challenging and real-life operational setting critical to future defence output.
Role: Qualified Flying Instructor
Location: RNAS Yeovilton or Middle Wallop
Hours: Full time / Permanent – 40 hours per week Mon-Fri
Salary: £67,031pa.
Security Clearance: The successful candidate should be able to gain full SC clearance.
Responsibilities:
Day-to-day, you’ll support dedicated students on a 31-hour flying syllabus that caters to elements such as nav, aerobatics. You will be attending briefings to identify weather conditions for the day before joining preparation briefings before flying sessions with your students. You will also:
- Ensure that all other related support activities and services are provided under the direction of the Site Operations Manager and Flight Commander
Essential experience required:
- Flying instructional experience
Qualifications:
- UK or JAA CPL(A) SEP, IR and FI (unrestricted) rating including Class 1 medical.
