On behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit a F & DT Engineer on an initial 10 -month contract.

Role: F & DT Engineer
Pay: Up to £52 per hour Via Umbrella
Location: Filton
Contract: Monday – Friday, 35 Hours per week, 10-month contract
IR35 Status: Inside
Security Clearance: BPSS

Responsibilities

  • Approve F&DT deliverables and lead the resolution of F&DT problems through the use of appropriate methods
  • Responsible for the technical scope of assigned projects and tasks
  • Contribute to engineering solutions and ways of working borne from experience in aerospace, other industries or research environments
  • Support the development of less experienced team members on both technical and behavioural aspects

Essential & Desirable Skills:

  • Experience and know-how of structures engineering and analytical techniques
  • Good knowledge of overall aircraft structural design principles and techniques
  • Hold or be close to holding approval signatory in F&DT analysis
  • Ability to step back and propose new ideas
  • Studied engineering and have a structural analysis background, particularly fatigue and damage tolerance
