On behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit a Facilities Compliance Executive on an initial 6 – month contract. As the Facilities Compliance Executive you will support the team to maximise sales, compliance, and passenger experience from all Retail and Property demises and commercial services in the terminal.

Role: Facilities Compliance Executive
Pay: Up to £190 per day via PAYE
Location: Hounslow. 3 days onsite
Contract: Monday- Friday, 37 Hours per week, 3 months Contract

Responsibilities

  • Creates reports to help in identifying deliver sales and service driving initiatives with Retailers and Tenants and support in making improvements in passenger experience. Some knowledge of the product range for each Retailer is needed, making sure business partners are compliant on a day-to-day basis with range and general standards.
  • Identify and incorporate new opportunities, operational activities and work streams that maximize sales and service opportunities. Continually improve the operational excellence and service standards of our business partners to deliver excellent passenger experience in line with all Initiatives – through influencing managers to continually strive to improve results including but not limited to Quality Service Monitor, and operational activities that impact on safety
  • Manages day to day logistics operations Supports Retail and Property to manage Back of House operations including working with the HCC Supplier to ensure deliveries are optimized and managed in a timely way, which doesn’t impact negatively on Fire and H&S policies
  • Crisis management Actively participates in crisis management and assist in coordinating contingency planning as required, this may involve working flexibly in times of crisis. This is specific to maintaining service levels when in crisis situations.
  • Attend Direct Property site visits to support fire evacuation drills within the Perimeter and CTA
  • Manage and own occupant contact database, working with Asset Managers to ensure current information is obtained for distribution lists.
  • Coordinate the reporting of Property and Retail close calls using Safety reporting systems
  • Maintain talking shop, Retails Extranet site with relevant and up to date information. Progress to develop a new Property Tenants Extranet site, utilising relevant information for population into an online system to provide news updates and to act as online occupant user guide to Heathrow Airport locations.
  • Role development – As Fire Risk Assessor conduct Fire Risk Assessments (successful FRA training required) on non-complex vacant Property and /or Retail units.

Essential Skills

  • Qualifications / Experience in one of the following fields preferred Fire safety, health and safety, risk management, facilities management/compliance, contractual compliance, business management and/or experience of working in a property environment.
  • Level 3 Fire Safety Management – 3 day course
  • Understanding of the Fire Safety Regulations – Regulatory Reform Fire Safety Order (RRO), Health and Safety Regulations and Building Regulations would be an advantage.
  • Understanding of airport operations and experience of working with teams to achieve improvement targets would be an advantage
  • Effective communication skills, written and verbal to enable reporting and presenting to 3rd parties, internal stakeholders and business partners essential
  • Analytical and data management skills essential
  • Strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills essential.
