I am seeking an Engineering Administrator to contract with my client in Yeovil, Devon for approx. 18 months.
The successful candidate will assist engineers with various tasks and assignments, and training will be provided.
Ability to read & interpret engineering drawings is essential.
The role will be 100% onsite in Yeovil. Start ASAP.
**Please note that candidates must be UK nationals due to the nature of work involved **
* Rate of pay – £23 per hour PAYE only, plus holiday pay in addition
* Mon – Fri. 37 hours per week
Main responsibilities of the Engineering Administrator:
- Use the inhouse PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) tool to review engineering drawings. The ability to read & interpret engineering drawings is essential.
- Follow a set procedure to identify and highlight certain materials being used in the lifecycle process.
- Review documentation and decide how to proceed.
Ideal candidate profile:
Essential:
- Ability to read & interpret engineering drawings.
- Highly proficient with MS Office and strong admin. experience
- Detail orientated, methodical and able to use initiative.
- Strong communicator, both written & verbal
- UK nationals only can be considered due to export control regulations.
- Enthusiasm to complete the responsibilities in a timely & accurate manner
Beneficial:
- Previous document control experience within an engineering /aerospace industry or similar
- Change management experience
