My client is offering a contract opportunity for Electrical Fitter / HV Controls & Instrumentation to join their team based at their Devonport site. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining the Naval Base high voltage networks and associated plant and equipment.

Role: Electrical Fitter / HV Controls & Instrumentation
Hourly Rate: £18.70 p/h via PAYE, £23.73 p/h via Umbrella.
Location: Devonport
IR35 Status: Inside
Contract: 6-months
Security clearance: The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the frequency changer control panels.
  • Respond to any issues with the frequency changers as directed by the Shift Manager.
  • Carry out regular shift checks.
  • Assist the Shift Manager with frequency changer operations.
  • Provide support to the shift manager.

Qualifications and experience required:

  • Experience of working with control and instrumentation.
  • Level 3 Electrical qualification
  • Computer literate eg MS Office.
  • Previous experience of operating or maintaining electrical plant and equipment.
  • Competent with following procedures
