Aircraft Wiring Specialist

My client is an engineering partner for major air and land transport industries. From its sites in Europe, the United States, Mexico, Morocco and India, the company takes responsibility for engineering projects on behalf of its clients and provides high value-added services on expertise activities. He is looking for a:

Role: Aircraft Wiring Specialist
Location: Herborn, germany
Contract: Permanent

Main Responsibilities

• Crimping of cable harnesses
• Soldering
• Installation of wiring harnesses on the units
• Installation of grounding structures
• Preserving grounding points
• Reading and understanding technical drawings
• Derivation from drawings and sketches as well as setting of sockets (insert)
• Additional tasks: drilling, cutting threads, gluing, screwing

Requirements

• Check production and order documents (e.g. drawing documents, top flow and SAP PP/PS documents) for completeness, functionality and feasibility
• Checking delivered/prepared materials and parts for completeness and dimensional accuracy
• Manufacture and install electrical appliances and components, cable harnesses, boxes, coffee makers, wet products, etc. Independent installation of products, boxes, etc. according to production order and production documents.
• Installation of electrical components in standard products according to specifications such as drawings, production work sequence systems, sketches, pictures, etc.
• Creation of drilling/installation plans/sketches. Derivation from drawings and sketches and setting of bushings (insert) and bushings (drilling, thread cutting, gluing, screwing)
• Process complaints. Realize post-processing.
• Processing of accompanying documents according to specified test steps
• Direct reporting of production faults (defective tools, equipment, systems or missing material) to the direct supervisor
• Participation in the improvement process, participation in daily management activities (e.g. QRQC /5S) and completion/completion of daily management documents and lists
• Adherence to the planned and communicated completion dates

Qualifications

• Many years of experience in the role as Aircraft Wiring Specialist
• European passport
• Knowledge of English
• Knowledge of German is a plus
