My client is seeking an Aerospace Assembly Technician to join on them on a permanent basis near Heathrow Airport.
As an Aerospace Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for the final mechanical & electrical assembly of a specific part of an aircraft.
Role: Aerospace Assembly Technician
Pay: From £28,898 plus shift allowance
Location: West London
Hours: Monday to Friday (One week early shift, one week late shift)
** Candidate must have the right to live and work in the UK unrestricted. No sponsorships can be provided now or in the future**
Main responsibilities:
- The assembly of mechanical components and Installation of Hydraulic and Electrical systems
- Assemble in accordance with all OEM, legislative, and Industry requirements, working to ‘right first time’ methodology
- Manage consumable items
- Inspect/duplicate inspection of completed assemblies/sub-assemblies.
- Liaise with associated departments.
Ideal candidate profile:
- Ideally applicants will have served an Aircraft related apprenticeship or equivalent with experience in a similar service industry.
- Emphasis placed upon those applicants that have served within an EASA/FAA approved organisation.
- Previous experience of component assembly
- Experience working in an Airline/ Aerospace related environment
- Able to demonstrate a knowledge of the legislative and quality system requirements within the aviation industry
- Good understanding of Excel and Word
