A330 F&DT Engineer

My client is looking for a A330 F&DT Engineer to join on them on a contract until the end of 2023 As a A330 F&DT Engineer, you will be responsible for investigating potential design improvements and their impact upon the structure supporting trade studies, it will also involve documentation of F&DT justifications of modifications.
Role: A330 F&DT Engineer
Pay: £40-50 per hour via Umbrella (Inside IR35) Happy to consider both non-approvers and approver status Non-approvers the pay bracket is £40-£44 UMB | Approver pay bracket £46-50 UMB
Location: Filton (3 Days onsite 2 days WFH)
Contract: Ending December 2023
Hours: 37 hours per week Monday – Friday (across 4.5 days working between 7-7 at business discretion)
Security Clearance: BPSS

Job Profile
* Production and collation of data to enable trade studies and impact analysis to be performed, understand impact of modifications on inspection program
* Analysis of fixed Wing structures using Airbus toolsets and processes
* Compilation of F&DT certification dossiers
* Pre-approval check / approval of dossiers if a delegated signatory
* Close working with the A330 Wing teams
* Progress reporting to Head of Engineering for A330

Skills/Experience Required
* Degree in Engineering or relevant discipline
* Proven experience within an aerospace environment
* Prior experience of working within Airbus
* Proven ‘hands on’ experience of airframe certification analysis
* Strength in problem solving for analysis solutions
* Knowledge of fatigue working method and Maintenance documentation is required.
* Ability to meet the agreed delivery plan and report progression of deliverables
Desirable
* Delegated signatory
* Strong working knowledge of ISAMI
* Knowledge of Wing structures

Education & Training
Essential – Strong experience in a similar role
Ideally candidate will hold approver status or be close to obtaining this
Candidate needs to be familiar with Airbus tools and ways of working – A330 experience would be preferred.
