Job Title	Maintenance Control Engineer

Client Profile	A well established international aircraft and engineering maintenance services provider to airlines and operators.
Duties	Our client currently has an opening for a Maintenance Control Engineer. This is a permanent position based in Eastern Asia. Job Role: Maintenance QA Manager, Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul Scope of Duties: - Support aircraft maintenance inputs on technical issues; - Evaluate maintenance tasks and take necessary action to reduce/eliminate technical problems during maintenance checks; - Analyse persistent/ recurrent aircraft defects and advise appropriate action to improve aircraft reliability; - Liaise and work with concerned parties to achieve maximum cost effectiveness of maintenance inputs; - Review findings of aircraft occurrence reports and address the discrepancies in task-oriented/ recurrent training to reinforce proper maintenance practices; and - Undertake other projects as assigned.
Qualifications	- A valid JAR-66 B1/B2 or ICAO Type II Licence endorsed with appropriate aircraft type ratings (B747, B757,B767, B777, A320, A330, A340,A380 or MD11); - Minimum of 7 years relevant experience in MRO / airline industry; - Extensive knowledge of the technical documentation e.g. MEL, AMM and SB; - Demonstrated analytical ability and strong problem solving skills; - Expert at project management and excellent people skills; and - Excellent command of English, both spoken and written.
