PERMANENT POSITION
Licensed Rotary Engineer
B1 Licensed with type ratings on one or more of the following:-
S76, EC155, AS355, EC365
Duties:-
Responsibilities
Undertake and supervise the maintenance of rotary wing aircraft, to the standards prescribed under Part 145, Company Aircraft Engineering MOE, and current manufacturers requirements;
Proactively support engineering teams and remain vigilant to the condition of aircraft in Company care, ensuring the highest standard of safety is applied. To report any unsafe condition or act;
Lead any appointed engineering crew effectively and efficiently and plan activities to ensure maintenance activities are consolidated and the aircraft is returned to service without un-necessary delays;
Actively support customers both internal and external and accept information and distribute this effectively. To provide feedback to both customers and engineering management as appropriate;
Record and advise logistics and engineering management of material requirements to complete the task and monitor deliver forecasts;
Apply and monitor compliance of local HS&E requirements and identify areas where risk to persons or equipment exists; which may result in accident or injury;
Document and certify all maintenance activity performed, accurately and in a timely manner. To collate and present completed work packages for recording. Account for time spent on individual tasks at the completion of the working day;
Supervise, train, and mentor less experienced staff in safe methods of rotary engineering;
Take care of customer equipment and ensure the working environment is kept clean and tidy and present a professional image;
Participate in the development of Company business process and procedures to ensure quality, efficiency and customer service are continually reviewed and developed;
Travel as required, with reasonable notice, to other locations to perform activities as detailed by Engineering Manager;
Support Duty Engineer roster on a rotational basis as appropriate;
Maintain and encourage a professional but relaxed approach within the working environment;
Report as soon as practical any unauthorised absence from the place of work;
On occasion such other duties that may be required in support of the business
