Client Profile	An airline which has established itself as the industry leader in the CIS/ Central Asia region, with an outstanding reputation for providing safe, reliable and comfortable air services on both its domestic network and long-haul routes.
Duties	The Engineering Manager is responsible for the engineering support departments which include Maintenance Planning (Aircraft & Engine), Engineering (Airframe/Powerplant/Avionics), Material/Inventory management, Technical Records, IT management, Project Management disciplines and additionally for advising the Commercial Planning Department on issues regarding aircraft leases and purchases. You will need to have airline, engineering , management and expat experience together with a knowledge of Airbus/Boeing/Fokker 50/Embraer E190 aircraft. An understanding of EASA regulations is also desirable. The successful candidate will report directly to the Deputy Director, Engineering & Maintenance and will have previously held a senior airline position.
Qualifications	Essential Requirements: • Holder of an Engineering Degree or equivalent. • Holder of a recognized aviation maintenance qualification • Detailed knowledge of EASA regulations with regard to Part 145, Part M and EU OPS. • 15 years Technical Services and Maintenance Planning management experience, of which 5 years should be in a multi cultural environment • Planning, Engineering, and Supplies Management experience is a must • Experience in developing Maintenance Programmes and Reliability Programmes • Ability to plan and manage departmental annual budget • Fluency in both written and spoken English If you are interested in the above opportunity please forward your CV in confidence to lois@luap.com.
