| Duties |
A Project/ORAT (Operational Readiness and Transition Manager)is required for our client based in the Middle East.
The successful incumbent will be responsible for but not limited to:
Defining all required facilities, systems, procedures and staffing requirements for airlines Cargo department.
Review the design and specifications of facilities and systems provided by the Airport steering committee (SC) and provides operational input if and when required.
Writes and coordinates development of standard operating procedures and ensures review of these within his/her department. Ensures alignment with other departments and airport stakeholders.
Follows-up the recruitment and training of the Airline's Cargo operational staff
Supports the sourcing and contracting of operational service providers, with support from the Contracts Department. Responsible for defining scope, operational requirements and operational performance levels, and for seeking approval by the Senior Manager Cargo Services.
Work closely with the ORAT Process Coordinators and ORAT Process Managers and submit a monthly status reports to the ORAT Process Coordinator and Airline's Cargo Management.
Develops and reviews contingency plans for the department.
Participate in system assessment, testing and commissioning as and when required and validates the process and procedures during end-user trials.

| Qualifications |
Minimum Criteria:
A bachelors degree in a relevant discipline, and/or equivalent relevant experience.
A minimum of two years experience at Supervisory/Management level within a similar role.
Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight timescales and within budget
Microsoft Office applications at advanced level
Excellent analytical and decision making skills
Proven team management skills with effective communication across functions.
Fluent in written and spoken English
