Client Profile	A growing West African airline setting high standards of operation flying domestic and international routes.
Duties	Our client currently has a requirement for a Distribution (Pricing) Manager. Scope of the role: This position provides the company network with competitive pricing and distribution support, to generate revenues while maximizing yields. Brief description: Manage and administer the company pricing strategy, electronic and paper distribution of passenger fares and rules via all available distribution channels, including internet on a selective basis, and directly to the company’s corporate and trade customers. Understand and implement the complete tariff process and be aware of industry changes and distribution enhancements for the airline, travel agency, GDS, GNE channels. Maintain and develop a strong understanding and control of our fares, while filing public and private fares in ATPCO database for global distribution. Monitor and resolve all fares/tax related issues with CRS and global GDS systems. Monitor and maintain data base of competitor airline fares/rules, recommending changes and enhancements to company pricing structure to meet revenue and yield targets. Competencies: Strong Mathematicals skills essential Organisational and administrative skills
Qualifications	BA/BS required plus a minimum of five years experience within air tariffs/ pricing department in an airline, preferably dealing in both online and offline markets . Experience with evaluating possible network-wide pricing models including interline and other revenue generation channels. Thorough knowledge of fares and fare structure practices, including, IATA procedures, filing fares and coding rules, networking with internal and external groups to design and adapt the optimal pricing structure.
